Steve and I learned a life lesson today - NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH www.BESTPRICECAMERAS.COM. These people are ridiculous scam artists who attempted to bait and switch us on a digital camera. We spent over two hours on the phone trying to get the order cancelled, with success (we think) but only after a lot of hassel.
The website offered what looked like a great deal on a camera, with two lenses and a bunch of accessories, so we ordered. Later we got a call that was rather hard to understand telling us that the cables, batteries, software, etc. were not included with what we purchased and asking if we wanted to "upgrade" to get those things. At this point we were pretty suspicious with what was going on, so we started checking into the company a little more. Needless to say, what we found was not good.
Fortunately, we believe Jen's fledgling amount of legal knowledge was able to find us some leverage, so hopefully this situation will be resolved without us having to file any charges, grievances, or complaints. Just remember - go to a store to buy a camera (like Circuit City or Best Buy or something)
